BECOPAD range opens up new dimension in depth filtration
At the BEGEROW booth (224 in Hall 1) TechnoPharm and booth (1.226 in Hall 1) analytica visitors can expect to see the latest product innovation from the filtration experts.
Mineral-free and made of high-purity cellulose: The BECOPAD range, available as a low-cationic and a cationic version, stands for maximum filtration performance and minimum ion release. The new depth filter medium from BEGEROW, which is produced using the special bepure process, sets new standards in terms of purity of the end product and economic efficiency.
It can be used for a wide range of applications, including clarification of ethanolic solutions, which have a tendency for ion-related precipitation, catalyst separation and separation tasks in the production of biopharmaceutical products involving antibodies or proteins.
BECOPAD range is characterized by minimum extractable substances and a 50 % reduction in rinsing volume. This saves costly rinsing solutions and rinsing times. Because of its high chemical resistance, the BECOPAD range is also particularly suitable for a variety of applications involving aggressive liquids. The depth filters are fully ashable and 100 % biodegradable.
Special additional features of BECOPAD P: The cationic potential of the filter medium selectively separates negatively charged particles from the liquid to be filtered. In addition, it benefits from extremely low endotoxins as well as calcium, magnesium and aluminium extractables and therefore ensure that the final products are pure. Exceptionally good filtration results are reached for pharmaceutical applications.
