drinktec 2009 – BECOPAD goes USA

The drinktec 2009 started with a bang for the BEGEROW team from Munich. Pete Coors, chairman of the same brewery chain and one of the largest private breweries worldwide, visited the exhibition stand of BEGEROW right at the very beginning of the exhibition. He informed himself about BECOPAD, the award-winning filtration innovation of the company from Langenlonsheim, Germany.
This visit honoured the BEGEROW team greatly and simultaneously was the kick-off for a flood of visitors from the inland and abroad countries. Especially many American Craft Brewers informed themselves at the exhibition stand about the mineral-free filter medium and its many other product advantages. Alfons Witte, sales director for beer and mineral water of BEGEROW said: “We had very interesting discussions with many representatives from international breweries from Asia and especially the United States”.
BECOPAD also stood out in the fruit juice sector. At the International Fruit juice Week (IFW), which took place simultaneously to the drinktec in Munich, BECOPAD was awarded with the CONFRUCTA award from the same publisher. The CONFRUCTA award is awarded to individuals, companies or institutions that moved something in the fruit juice branch and have created new impulses through new innovations or the development of new fruit juice processing, whose quality and consumption of fruit juice has been influenced positively.
The exhibition concept of the drinktec 2009 was an absolute success. The visitors of the exhibition stands were convinced with the new philosophy of mineral free filtration.
