BEGEROW presents the first drip-free filter sheet

Following its successful introduction in the beer and wine markets, BEGEROW's appearance at this year's Anuga FoodTec trade fair in Cologne will focus on BECOPAD, which will be launched for the fruit juice and food sector. From 10 to 13 March 2009 visitors of the international trade fair for food and beverage technology will have opportunity to find out about the world innovation from BEGEROW, the filtration specialists.

BECOPAD consists of high-purity pure cellulose and is produced using the special bepure process. The innovation enables filtration without addition of minerals, and largely without drip and product losses. BEGEROW therefore offers the only mineral-free depth filter medium that covers all requirements from coarse to sterile filtration. The plate and frame filter becomes an enclosed system. The germ retention efficiency meets the strictest standards for microbiological safety. In particular, Alicyclobacillus, which is particularly problematic for fruit juice production, is reliably retained.

The use of BECOPAD promises at least 20% increased output and a reduction of the flushing volume by 50%.

The Anuga FoodTec trade fair takes place every three years and has developed into one of the main meeting points for the food processing industry from around the world.
