Mineral-free and made of high-purity cellulose: The new BECOPAD range, presented at P-Mec in Paris stands for maximum filtration performance very high chemical resistance and stability as well as and a very low level of extractables.
The new depth filter medium from BEGEROW sets new standards in terms of purity of the end product and economic efficiency.
It can be used for a wide range of applications, including particle removal and turbidity reduction of fine chemical products, catalyst separation and demanding separation tasks in the production of biopharmaceutical products.
By reducing the rinsing volume by 50 %, this new product saves costly rinsing solutions and reduces rinsing times. The depth filters are fully ashable and 100 % biodegradable. BECOPAD P, the version for pharmaceutical processes, has been optimized with regard to minimizing endotoxins and is characterized by minimum extractable calcium and magnesium ion content.
BEGEROW has already received several rewards for BECOPAD, including the Rhineland-Palatinate 2008 innovation award and the 2009 PROCESS innovation award.
